Someone II

4 Aug

My eyes are just drying from the pain of the plague of solitude

As my sickness slowly alleviates

I’m left pondering

Why is it I’m still writing all of this nonsense of love and romance

When love and romance have never found me

Its seems as all that follows my heart is complexity and obscurities

When all I want is gentle arms to take me in

Ones that will not wound what is left of me

Or expect me to behave obsequiously

Or keep me from my drug that keeps me going–my writing–that holds me together

I want my own great Romance

I wish there was someone to write me poetry

And tells me of how much he loves me

But can still let me be who I am truly

I want a love that can

Listen without being wary of my thoughts

Who is not dismissive of my ideas

I want a love that can write ME poetry

I wish there was someone to help me when it feels like the world is falling apart.

“Someone who’s love shall never, ever part”

Who’sKisses are a far better fate than wisdom”

Who will “Love me tender, love me true”

Someone who will “say you’ll share with me one love, one lifetime”

Someone who will finally write me poetry…

I open the door to the world

o a new morning my mania of last night gone

Remembering those lines “Tis’ such a beautifully gloomy day

To finally go my lonesome way.”

I walk through….

The imagery is excellent, I think everyone has experienced this at one point in their lives, “the pain of the plague of solitude” is a great line.
